Job Summary
As our Marketing Principal - Customer Experience Technology, you'll play a pivotal role in standing up a modern, scalable Customer Experience Tools to transform and build the foundation for arenaflex's LTL/Freight business. You'll lead, develop, and execute strategy for one or more marketing initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. This will involve analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Project Management: Lead project activities and consult across multiple project teams, including identification of business requirements needed for impacted systems. This will involve working closely with technical teams to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with business objectives and technical capabilities.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Recommend project budgets and forecasts anticipated budget spending. This will involve working closely with finance teams to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with business objectives and financial resources.
- Team Leadership: Coach and develop less senior team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and objectives.
- Analysis and Reporting: Provide expert-level analysis in several marketing disciplines, including computer-generated modeling. This will involve analyzing data and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and product development. This will involve communicating marketing strategies and initiatives to stakeholders and ensuring that marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Master's Degree/equivalent in marketing, finance, computer science, or related business discipline.
- Experience: Five (5) years' experience in marketing, advertising, sales administration, or related discipline. Experience leading complex and interrelated initiatives in a corporate environment. Directly related advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. Directly related experience may offset degree requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Marketing Disciplines: Knowledge of the broad application of advanced principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in marketing disciplines, project management, information analysis, and computer-generated modeling.
- Human Relations and Communication: Excellent human relations and communication/presentation skills.
- Organizational and Analytical Skills: Advanced organizational, quantitative, and analytical skills, including experience in database marketing and computer-generated modeling.
- Customer-Focused Orientation: Customer-focused orientation, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Technical Skills: Experience with customer service technology, call routing, personalized self-service tools, leading tech projects, new platform evaluations, and integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Customer Service Technology: Experience with customer service technology, call routing, personalized self-service tools, leading tech projects, new platform evaluations, and integrations.
- Digital Platforms: Experience creating differentiation through new digital platforms to drive growth and customer experience improvements across various customer segments throughout a shipment journey.
- LTL Customer Needs: Understanding of LTL customer needs and preferences.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Work Environment and Culture
• Remote Work: This role will be remote, excluding AK, HI, and US territories, with desired locations in Memphis, TN, or Harrison, AR. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.

Compensation and Benefits
• Pay: US Pay Range: $7,094.23/month - $12,533.14/month
- Benefits: Eligible employees receive health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
- Bonus Potential: An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential.
