Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Virtual Data Entry team as a Virtual Data Entry Specialist. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operationalizing data pipelines to drive business insights and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design and implement data solutions, and ensure the quality and integrity of our data assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Designs and operationalizes data pipelines to make data accessible for business intelligence, advanced analytics, and services
- Collaborates with data modelers and data/BI architects to plan data pipelines and suggests continuous improvement of data storage, data ingestion, data quality, and processing
- Plans, creates, and executes ETL/ELT processes using Informatica Cloud (IICS)
- Utilizes Azure services like Azure SQL DW (Neural connection), ADLS, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Data Factory to improve and accelerate the delivery of our data products and services
- Develops large data and NoSQL solutions by creating adaptable data handling stages to drive high-value insights to the organization
- Identifies, plans, and executes internal process improvements: automating manual processes, and enhancing data delivery
- Identifies ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management
- Communicates technical ideas to non-technical audiences both written and verbally
- Performs peer reviews for other data architect's work
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS
- 2+ years of experience working with Cloud technologies; like ADLS, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other big data advances
- 2+ years of experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing
- 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing data integration procedures like event/message-based integration (Kafka, Azure Event Hub), ETL
- Strong understanding of database storage concepts; Data Lake, Social Data sets, NoSQL, Schema, Data Warehousing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
- Microsoft Azure/ similar certifications
- Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development approaches
- Openness to the retail business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with SAP integration tools including Bodies
- Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations
