Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Providing sales, service, or technical assistance to customers over the phone, email, or chat
- Training other employees on proper customer service skills to ensure consistency and excellence
- Handling customer concerns by providing resolutions to problems and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Building sustainable relationships and trust with customers through good communication and follow-up
- Providing accurate, valid, and complete information using the right methods and tools
- Recording keeping and accurate documentation to ensure seamless operations
- Processing all incoming mail, including checks for service accounts
- Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure consistency and compliance
- Assisting with other duties as assigned, as we're a small and mighty office
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven customer support experience in an office environment, with a strong track record of delivering excellent service
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening to ensure customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices to manage customer interactions and data
- Customer-forward ability to respond to different needs and communication styles, with a focus on building relationships and trust
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results
- Ability to take direct feedback and modify techniques to improve performance and customer satisfaction
- High School degree; College experience preferred
- Possess a valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with the pest control industry is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn existing processes and procedures
- Experience in Excel, Google-based applications, and customer relationship management software
Physical Requirements
This role requires:
- Climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion
- Light work, exerting force up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects
- Close visual acuity for activities like visual inspection, reading, and measuring devices
