Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Phone and Chat Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a remote-based position, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you'll be responsible for navigating online platforms to verify nurses' credentials, following up with clients to confirm their credentials, and handling follow-up phone calls to ensure seamless communication. Key Responsibilities

As a Phone and Chat Specialist at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Managing multiple chat channels simultaneously
  • Following communication scripts to handle different topics
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives
  • Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls
  • Performing data entry and customer service skills
  • Navigating online platforms efficiently
  • Working requests/records received for those requesting to sign up for a shift
  • Identifying customers' needs, researching to see if requests have the necessary credentials
  • Skilfully changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
  • Remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions
  • Flexibility to cross-train as requested

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
  • Technical savvy
  • Previous remote work from home experience a plus
  • Quick learner and able to work independently
  • Type 35 words per minute accurately
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As a full-time employee at arenaflex, you'll enjoy a competitive salary, plus shift differential (extra $1/hour nights and weekends) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance. You'll also have access to:

  • Paid training (3 weeks in length, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday)
  • Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Equipment provided option: Equipment will be shipped to you for full-time permanent employees
  • Must have verified internet service (secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed is required to support business needs) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection)
  • Company will provide equipment

Hardware/Software Requirements

To ensure seamless communication and efficient work processes, you'll need to meet the following hardware and software requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
  • Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
  • Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required
  • USB headset
  • No Chromebooks, netbooks, or any type of tablet (Must be a laptop or a desktop)
  • Up-to-date antivirus software must be installed on the platform and a recent scan completed (Will be checked prior to allowing login to system)
  • Firewall must be enabled (Will be checked prior to allowing login to system)
