Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments (Remote Opportunity)

Job Summary
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for processing trade deal purchases, reconciling transactions, and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents. You will also be responsible for processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and determine/address breaks recognized between TD Ameritrade and the fund companies or transfer agents
- Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
- Analyze complex/escalated issues and perform testing/validation of new innovation enhancements and provider modifications
- Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly influence the Client/Advisor profile
- Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
- Collaborate with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners to resolve issues and improve processes
Duties and Responsibilities
* Review and process subscription deals or transfer requests
- Identify and address Client/Advisor account exceptions
- Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Reconcile Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
- Resolve issues across BOS and Fund Companies
- Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
- Troubleshoot internal/external system improvements or concerns
- Identify root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
- Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
- Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
- Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
- Promptly and accurately finalize client investing and dividend demands
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the financial industry or a related field
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Strong understanding of data entry and reconciliation processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
