About the Role

As a Senior Engineer on our Document Management/Customer Communication Team, you'll work across the organization to provide strategic document solutions for both internal and external customers. You'll collaborate with business and product partners to create, maintain, and assign insurance-related documents across all states in which we do business. Your expertise will be essential in driving our transition from a traditional IT model to a tech organization with engineering excellence as its mission.

Key Responsibilities

- Document Management: Use document management tools to create and maintain arenaflex's enterprise document library, ensuring that our customers receive accurate and up-to-date information. - Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with product managers, engineering team members, and product teams to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality technology products and services. - Data Analysis: Monitor data platform performance, analyze metrics, and iterate on features to optimize user experience and business outcomes. - Business Initiatives: Manage business initiatives across functional teams through the entire product lifecycle, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience. - Engineering Excellence: Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams, driving engineering excellence and innovation. - On-Call Support: Provide on-call support for Production systems, servers, and applications, ensuring that our customers receive uninterrupted service.

Qualifications

- Enterprise Document Solutions: Proficient with enterprise document solutions (preferably Smart Communications and OpenText products). - Content Development: Demonstrated ability to perform high-level content development for CCM tools. - Programming Languages: Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, .NET, or Python. - Orchestration Services: Understanding of orchestration services. - Analysis and Estimation: Ability to analyze and estimate at a high level. - Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. - Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills. - Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills. - Document Management Tools: Understanding of document management tools, DevOps, and product/software development lifecycle. - Experience: 2+ years of enterprise document development, 2+ years of experience with architecture/design of complex document platforms, and 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or another cloud service. - Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
