Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team, working from the comfort of your own home. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for receiving and responding to calls and correspondence from child support clients in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and contractual obligations. Your primary duties will include:

  • Answering incoming calls in a timely manner
  • Providing callers with accurate account information and educating them on appropriate policies and procedures
  • Effectively redirecting callers to the appropriate area/agency when necessary
  • Maintaining knowledge of procedures and systems
  • Communicating client concerns and feedback to management
  • Researching and processing all correspondence received by email, fax, and mail

Abilities and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on empathy and understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, using tact, patience, and courtesy to diffuse upset customers
  • The ability to deliver bad news effectively, while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and management
  • The ability to work under pressure, multitasking between calls and correspondence
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients in both languages
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of prior experience in an area of service delivery, customer service, call center technology, or a related field
  • Proficiency in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-keypad
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office
