Job Summary

As a Tax and Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and partners, providing exceptional support and resolving complex issues related to tax preparation and other customer inquiries. This is a full-time, remote work opportunity that requires a strong understanding of tax preparation principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to our customers and partners, responding to tax-related questions and resolving complex issues in a timely and professional manner

• Liaise with partners to resolve issues and provide support as needed
• Prioritize escalations and manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
• Stay up-to-date on tax preparation principles and regulations, ensuring accurate and compliant responses to customer inquiries
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of arenaflex's products and services, including tax preparation software and other related tools

Essential Qualifications

* High school graduate or GED equivalent

• 1-2 years of tax filing experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in simplified terms
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize multiple customer inquiries simultaneously
• Empathetic, dependable, reliable, and trustworthy, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
• Friendly and professional demeanor, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain data integrity, with a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles

Preferred Qualifications

* Credentialed CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Tax Preparer

• Experience working with tax preparation software and other related tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
• Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong understanding of technology and digital communication tools
• Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and partners in multiple languages
