Key Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with customers and patients, providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service, and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Pharmacy Operations: Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
- Cash Handling and Sales: Register sales on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, check in and price merchandise, and assist with ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance, and assist with exterior and interior maintenance tasks.
- Training and Development: Earn and maintain PTCB certification, attend training sessions, and complete continuing education credits to maintain knowledge and skills in healthcare and pharmacy.
Essential Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
- PTCB Certification: Earned and maintained through designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage with customers, patients, and colleagues in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to accurately handle cash, process transactions, and maintain inventory levels
