Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist – Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy Group – arenaflex
Job Summary:
arenaflex is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes, including the processing of prescriptions, patient information, and insurance claims. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being part of a dynamic and growing organization.
Job Responsibilities:
* Accurately and efficiently process prescriptions, patient information, and insurance claims into our computer system
- Verify and validate patient information, including demographic data and insurance coverage
- Contact healthcare providers and insurance companies to confirm prescription information and resolve any discrepancies
- Respond to patient calls to arrange and manage new prescription orders and reorders, including verifying benefits and coverage
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and prescription history
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and data exchange
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and arenaflex policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 6 months of experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
- 6 months of experience working with Windows-Based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
- Strong keyboarding skills and ability to sit or stand for extended periods (8-10 hours)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and precision in data entry
Preferred Qualifications:
* 6 months of experience working as a pharmacy technician
- 90 days of experience handling and resolving customer complaints via telephone
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, including medical billing and coding
- Experience with clinical charging, coding, and other clinical support roles
- Strong customer service skills and experience working in an office environment
- 6 months of professional work experience, including inbound and outbound telephone customer service
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
