Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Sales Associate/Cashier/Customer Service/Stock Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing transactions with customers using cash registers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions
- Finding customers prepared medication and ensuring correct bags are handed over, promoting a seamless customer experience
- Scanning goods and verifying pricing accuracy to prevent errors and discrepancies
- Collecting payments in cash or credit, issuing receipts, refunds, change, or tickets as needed
- Redeeming coupons and promoting cross-selling and upselling of products to enhance customer satisfaction
- Resolving customer complaints, guiding them, and providing relevant information to resolve issues promptly
- Greeting customers when entering or leaving the store, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Maintaining clean and tidy checkout areas, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Tracking transactions on balance sheets and reporting any discrepancies to ensure accuracy and transparency
- Bagging, boxing, or wrapping packages with care and attention to detail
- Handling merchandise returns, exchanges, and stocking inventory onto shelves, ensuring efficient stock management
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience in a customer service position, preferably in a retail or pharmacy environment
- Good knowledge of how cash registers operate, including handling cash and credit transactions
- Availability to take evening and weekend shifts occasionally, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately handle cash and credit transactions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with regular breaks to maintain physical comfort
