Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing fast, friendly, and personalized service to customers, actively seeking out opportunities to assess their needs and provide assistance
  • Learning about products and services using our tools and resources, and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
  • Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, as well as handling basics in adjacent departments
  • Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to your Manager on Duty
  • Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
  • Participating in sales growth initiatives and contributing to the success of your department and the organization as a whole

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment
  • Knowledge of building materials, tools, or other related products
  • Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending
