Key Responsibilities:

As a Retail Customer Service Cashier, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable
• Accurately and efficiently processing transactions, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap area and surrounding areas
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
• Participating in visual merchandising and inventory management activities
• Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date on promotions and sales
• Operating a cash register, POS system, and other equipment as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and reports, including sales data and customer information

Essential Qualifications:

* Basic computer and math knowledge

• Ability to count money accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
• Visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, and viewing a terminal

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role

• Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and policies
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred
