The Role
As an Experienced Dispatcher - Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, each day, you'll be the friendly first point of contact for customers, scheduling service appointments and dispatching our expert technicians. You'll keep everything running like clockwork by booking jobs, collecting payments, and ensuring all office inventory is stocked and organized. You'll be the go-to person for solving customer issues, maintaining a clean and efficient front office, and helping technicians stay on schedule. Your day will be fast-paced, varied, and never boring!
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
* Manage office inventory, ensuring that all necessary supplies and materials are stocked and organized
* Collect payments and process transactions accurately and efficiently
* Maintain a clean and efficient front office, ensuring that all areas are tidy and well-organized
* Collaborate with technicians to ensure that they have the necessary information and resources to complete their tasks effectively
* Stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures, and ensure that all customers and technicians are aware of them
Requirements:
* Excellent customer service skills, with a patient and empathetic approach
* Strong communication skills and a positive, adaptable attitude
* Ability to solve problems on the spot and keep things running smoothly
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service or dispatching, preferably in the plumbing or HVAC industry
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with ServiceTitan CRM or similar software
* Experience in dispatching or customer service in the plumbing or HVAC industry
* Certification in customer service or a related field
Schedule & Location:
* Location: This is an in-office role based in Poughkeepsie, NY.
* Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
