Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Income Board Innovation Group, where you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale cloud-based applications that meet the needs of our customers, stakeholders, and organizational requirements. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll lead the technical direction and implementation of our cloud-based systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement through research and development of new technologies and advancements.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive the technical direction and implementation of large-scale cloud-based systems, ensuring alignment with customer needs, organizational requirements, and industry standards.

• Act as a technical lead, guiding and coordinating the efforts of development teams, including internal and external partners.
• Assess the functional feasibility of new features and applications, defining requirements, developing solutions, and implementing proposed changes.
• Collaborate with product managers and customers to define component requirements and ensure that they meet the needs of our passengers and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by researching new technologies, advancements, and best practices, and applying them to our systems and processes.
• Prepare and present solutions, including determining and planning system specifications, standards, and software, to ensure that they meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
• Assess code to ensure that it is valid, properly organized, meets industry standards, and is compatible with various platforms, devices, or operating systems.
• Mentor junior engineers to promote skill development and knowledge sharing through guidance, training, and coaching.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in software development, attending training sessions, reading professional publications, and participating in industry events.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based systems and large-scale applications.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, and containerization technologies, such as Docker.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
