Job Summary

As a Technology Supply Chain Management Category Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of technology suppliers that support our Air Operations groups, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that suppliers meet business objectives, maximize value, and mitigate risk. Your expertise will be essential in leading strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and contract drafting, as well as mentoring junior colleagues in this space.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of technology suppliers that support Air Operations groups, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations

• Lead strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and contract drafting to ensure suppliers meet business objectives and maximize value
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers successfully meet business objectives and mitigate risk
• Develop and implement category management strategies to drive business growth and optimize spend
• Mentor junior colleagues in category management and supplier relationship management
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
• Provide expert advice and guidance on category management and supplier relationship management best practices

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in category management or a related field
• Proven track record of driving business growth and maximizing value through effective category management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to lead strategic sourcing events and negotiations
• Experience with category management tools and technologies, such as procurement software and data analytics platforms

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• Certification in category management or a related field, such as CSCP or CPM
• Experience working in the airline or aviation industry

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

• A salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
