[Hiring] US Tax Advisor @Prime Path Advisory
Role Description We are looking for a smart, reliable, and detail-oriented Tax & Finance Advisor to join our remote team. This is a full-time role for someone who has operated at the highest levels of the accounting profession and holds themselves to exacting standards of accuracy and excellence. We strongly prefer candidates with 3+ years of experience at a Big Four firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG) or an equivalent top-tier accounting/advisory firm. You must hold an active U.S. EA or CPA license.
Qualifications
- Active U.S. EA or CPA license (non-negotiable)
- 3+ years at a Big Four firm (Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, or KPMG) or an equivalent top-tier accounting/advisory firm
- 7+ years of experience in U.S. tax preparation (individual and/or small business returns)
- Familiarity with ProConnect, TaxDome, QuickBooks, Drake, or similar tax software
- Excellent written English (you'll draft client-facing emails and content ideas)
- Comfortable with IRS research and interpreting publications
- Understanding of common U.S. tax strategies (QBI, S-corp, SEP IRA, cost segregation, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- High personal standards for accuracy, you catch your own errors before anyone else does
- Experience with real estate tax strategies or investor clients
- 3+ years of experience in tax advisory/planning
- Background or skills in sales, marketing, or content collaboration
- Experience with leveraged charitable donations, solar depreciation, or heavy equipment strategies
