[Hiring] Intake Specialist @Compass Health Center

Role Description As an Intake Specialist, you will be a key point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in the intake and patient admission process. If you are passionate about providing patients with exemplary care, while being sensitive to their individual psychiatric condition, you would be a great addition to our team. Training Schedule: This position is remote but requires onsite training for up to 4 weeks at our Northbrook facility. Hours/Schedule: Sunday - Thursday | Sunday 12:30pm - 8:30pm CT, Monday - Thursday 1:30pm - 9:30pm CT What You'll Do:

• Answer incoming patient and parent phone calls and respond to phone messages in a timely and professional manner
• Successfully explain all Compass programs
• Schedule appointments for new and existing patients and complete screenings for potential patients calling for services
• Obtain detailed, confidential patient demographic and insurance information in preparation for intake
• Perform data entry of patient information
• Perform various administrative tasks such as scanning, emailing, faxing, and mailing documents

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
• Bilingual (Spanish) Strongly preferred
• Have previous administrative, customer service, or scheduling experience
• Medical/insurance office experience would be a plus
• Are able to deal with sensitive patient situations in a compassionate and confidential manner
• Are organized and detail-oriented
• Enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Can support our patients during the following hours: Sunday 12:30pm - 8:30pm CT, Monday - Thursday 1:30pm - 9:30pm CT
• While this role is fully remote (except for the first few weeks of training ideally), we are prioritizing candidates in the location of our patients in Illinois, Maryland, Washington DC, or Virginia

Requirements

• Compensation: $19 — $23 USD
