Genetic Counselor - Remote

Labcorp is seeking a US Remote based Genetic Counselor to join our team! This position will provide both comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling and will also support our Results Reporting group.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm eastern time zoneResponsibilities:Provide virtual comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling to a diverse patient population following established genetic counseling practice guidelines and proceduresProvide focused genetic counseling regarding carrier screening and cell-free DNA results. Will support multiple clients nationallyEnsures proper completion of counseling paperwork and documentationResponsible for the communication of relevant results and coordinating appropriate follow-up, per client-specific requirementsCommunicate and consult regularly with the clinical geneticist(s) and managers, as appropriate to situationParticipate regularly in staff meetings with counselors in the regionServe as a genetic information resource for specific referring physician inquiriesMaintain appropriate client interaction and confidentialityBe able to engage in professional growth opportunities including writing abstracts and publications, physician education and other projectsHave access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleaguesEnjoy benefits including a competitive compensation package, CEU educational support and reimbursement for genetic counseling certificationParticipate in educational and research initiatives within LabcorpMinimum Qualifications: Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic CounselingAmerican Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification or Active Candidate Status for ABGCAdditional Job Standards: Ability to obtain multi-state licensure including NJ and PAHighly organized, including excellent time management skillsStrong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and oralStrong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft OfficeApplication Window Closes: 5/7/2026**Pay Range: $85,000 - $120,000 / year All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
