PM/Scrum Master
Description: Anivas Tech is seeking a PM/Scrum Master to support our government agency IT operations. We are looking for a skilled professional with 8+ years of relevant experience who brings strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a mission-driven, high-visibility environment. Requirements:
- Lead Agile/Scrum delivery teams, facilitating all ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues in alignment with government contract requirements
- Serve as a servant-leader for the delivery team, removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain project artifacts including project plans, risk registers, status reports, and integrated master schedules
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders on project delivery status, risks, and milestones
- Coordinate across multiple workstreams, vendors, and government counterparts to ensure alignment and on-time delivery
- Track and communicate team velocity, sprint metrics, and program-level key performance indicators
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and work with product owners to prioritize and groom the product backlog
- Ensure deliverables comply with contract requirements, quality standards, and government governance processes
- Mentor team members on Agile best practices and support organizational agile maturity growth
- US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field; 5 additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
- 8+ years of experience in project management and/or Agile delivery roles, with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master or Agile coach
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-workstream IT projects in dynamic environments
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
- PMP certification (Project Management Professional)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI-ACP certification
- Experience in a federal government or DoD program environment
- Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) at the program or portfolio level
- Experience supporting government Agile transformation or DevSecOps programs
