System Administrator II - Remote with Client Visits

- About the Opportunity:
The System Administrator II plays a critical role in sustaining the organization’s Managed IT Services by managing and resolving a broad range of client support tickets. This position acts as the core support for maintaining IT operations across multiple environments, primarily through remote service desk interactions with occasional onsite client visits. The role ensures smooth IT functionality for clients and contributes directly to customer satisfaction by delivering timely and expert technical support.
- Responsibilities:
- Manage client tickets from initial receipt to resolution, providing advanced remote and occasional onsite support
- Troubleshoot technical issues across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise systems, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows/Mac endpoints, and Windows Server
- Deliver clear and prompt communication to end-users, ensuring thorough issue resolution and positive customer experience
- Escalate complex Tier 3 problems to the Engineering team with detailed documentation and professional collaboration
- Maintain accurate time tracking and detailed resolution notes in PSA software to support billing, communication, and knowledge management
- Requirements:
- Good sense of humor
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening (excluding THC) and background check
- Valid and clean driving record for occasional onsite visits
- Willingness to learn and comply with company policies
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Technical expertise and broad knowledge to support diverse client environments
Preferred
- Experience with systems commonly used by clients
- Familiarity with ConnectWise and Automate (LabTech) software
- Industry certifications are advantageous but not required
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- $32.00 to $37.00 per hour
