Job Summary

As a Customer Service and Sales professional at arenaflex, you will be the face of our organization, interacting with customers, assessing their needs, and providing personalized solutions to meet their expectations. You will work closely with our Department Supervisors and other associates to ensure seamless communication, efficient service delivery, and exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include: ### Key Responsibilities

  • Provide fast, friendly, and personalized service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance to drive sales growth
  • Learn about products and services using our tools and training programs to provide accurate information to customers
  • Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Work in cooperation with Department Supervisors and other associates in your department and other departments to achieve common goals and objectives
  • Participate in sales promotions, events, and initiatives to drive sales growth and customer engagement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues to build trust and loyalty

### Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field; retail or sales experience a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to learn quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

### Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a sales or customer service role in a retail or wholesale environment
  • Knowledge of building materials, décor, electrical, flooring, garden, hardware, kitchen and bath, lumber, millwork, paint, plumbing, and tool rental products and services
  • Certification in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience with sales software and technology
