Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading the technical direction and development of large-scale cloud systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet our customers' needs. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, share your expertise, and contribute to the growth and development of our technology team.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive the technical direction and development of large-scale cloud systems, including designing, developing, and maintaining application frameworks and infrastructure

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to drive innovation and improvement
• Determine functional feasibility by assessing requirements, defining issues, and developing proposed solutions
• Drive detailed definition of component requirements through conversations with product managers and customers
• Maintain continuous improvement by researching new technologies and advancements
• Prepare and present solutions by determining and planning system specifications, standards, and software
• Assess code to ensure it is valid, properly organized, meets industry standards, and is compatible with various platforms, devices, or operating systems
• Mentor junior engineers to facilitate skill and knowledge development through guidance, instruction, and training opportunities
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements by attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based systems and large-scale applications
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, and SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based systems and large-scale applications
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and technologies
• Certification in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Certified Solutions Architect
