Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for: - Handling all aspects of customer service related to ticketing and making reservations for passengers and crew members, including tagging and lifting passenger's luggage to a bag belt for transport to the ramp. - Proactively greeting customers, assessing their needs, explaining arenaflex's available options, and directing them accordingly. - Positively influencing customers' use of airport facilities to ensure a better, faster, and friendlier airport experience for all customers. - Displaying a positive image of arenaflex and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. - Keeping customers informed while ensuring smooth transportation. - Efficiently coordinating with internal assets while working under stress and time constraints to dispatch flights on time. - Performing a variety of responsibilities in accordance with the practical work location assignment; however, agents can be cross-applied and required to carry out all functions. Specific functions, tasks, and departments may vary or be added depending on the location and operational requirements. - Subject to rotating shifts and stale days. - May require outdoor work. - Practicing safety-aware behaviors in all operational procedures and protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency - Embracing diverse people, cultures, and styles - Consistently prioritizing safety and security, of self and others - Demonstrating that privacy is a concern while managing personal data - Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written conversation - Employee should have the right work documents to work/live in the United States at the time of applying - Be at least 18 years of age - Frequently lift baggage or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds - Occasionally lift baggage or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds - Possess entry-level computer skills - Employee should be able to type at least 30 wpm to efficiently use the agent's computer system - Strong verbal and written communication skills using proper grammar, tone, and pronunciation - Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and/or education in ticketing is preferred - Familiarity with airline operations and customer service principles
