The Role
As a software engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web and cloud applications. This will involve working on a range of projects, from building new features and improving existing ones to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web and cloud applications using a range of programming languages and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and provide technical support to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional runbooks, SOPs, and SLA/SLO.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development, and apply this knowledge to improve our platform and services.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, systems administration, database concepts, monitoring, and shell scripting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound technical decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, such as JUnit or PyUnit.
