Responsibilities:
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Answering inbound calls regarding billing inquiries, disconnect/reconnect, payment arrangements, budget billings, making payments, processing trouble and outage orders, and assisting with My Account (online accounts).
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving complex issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilizing computer navigation skills to access and update customer information.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Prior Call Center Experience:
A minimum of 6 months of experience in a call center environment.
Great Attendance:
A strong track record of attendance and punctuality.
Computer Navigation Skills:
Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications.
Typing Speed:
A minimum typing speed of 35-40 WPM.
Great Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Multitasking Skills:
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Flexibility:
Willingness to work overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Technical Requirements:
For remote positions, the minimum internet speed requirements are:
Broadband Internet Connection:
A stable broadband internet connection (no DSL or dial-up).
Hard Wired Connection:
A hard-wired connection (no Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspots).
Speed Test Results:
A minimum speed test result of 25 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.
Camera Requirements:
Cameras are required to be on during training from start to end of each shift (not including breaks and lunches).
