The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team as a Staff Software Engineer. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our product managers, designers, and engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable, efficient, and high-quality software solutions that meet arenaflex's business needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the technical vision and direction of our team, and you'll have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior engineers in their technical and professional development.
A Typical Day
As a Staff Software Engineer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop new features and products
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers in their technical and professional development
- Driving the full development cycle, from design to deployment, and ensuring high-quality code and documentation
- Reviewing code and design documents, providing feedback and guidance to ensure technical excellence
- Participating in code reviews and design discussions to improve team efficiency and collaboration
Your Expertise
To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and passion for collaboration. Here are some of the key qualifications we're looking for:
- 9+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems and large-scale service-oriented architectures
- Experience with frontend or full-stack development, with a strong understanding of web development principles and best practices
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and develop junior engineers
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Passion for technical excellence, with a strong focus on code quality, testing, and deployment
- Experience with agile development methodologies, with a strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
