Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst – IT to join our team. As a Senior Data Analyst – IT, you will be a data-driven leader who is passionate about data, analysis, and program execution, with the ability to dive into details and evaluate the 10,000-foot view while focusing on process improvement. You will create and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty innovation groups, with a deep understanding of the business, as well as collaborate with a dedicated team and be an issue solver. This role requires a strong communicator with a passion for finding the signal in the noise and the ability to come up with enhancements to applications and metrics to be measured.
Key Responsibilities
* Determine the digital performance of applications/frameworks affecting business functionality of applications/frameworks
- Understand the right questions to be asked on the platform data attached to the Digital Channels
- Create streamlined and extensive data analysis work streams
- Areas of focus will include, but are not limited to:
+ Data Representations + Application execution analysis + Error patterns, top variables contributing to errors + Identify, design, and execute internal process enhancements: recommendations for execution and greater flexibility
- Demonstrating and coding of data
+ With technical expertise, constructs trusted data products including dashboards and reporting items to help Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty authorities make data-driven decisions on application execution + Collaborate with US and India Data Center groups to develop dashboards + Track new platform updates and application releases and cycles and learn the current application/frameworks to explore system execution, dive into errors, response time, service logs, define new data collection and labeling, create widespread dashboards + Convey and communicate updates to authorities, as well as assemble standard presentations
- Work with Advanced Tasks Community (ATC) on functional metrics
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science (Math, Statistics, or Finance)
- Designing, Information Science, or another quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, finance, etc.)
- 5+ years in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, analysis, and data designing, with 3+ of those years in a Fortune 500 organization
- 3+ years in online business stage development
- Experience creating presentations for partners and leaders and interact with all levels of management
- Genuine ability to create a vision, motivate the team towards that vision, and offer support to achieve it
- Broad experience with BI run boarding (e.g., PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire, etc...) to create significant, rich dashboards
Advanced Success Information
* Experience analyzing online business stages for Web, Mobile Application, Devotion, Exhibited insight in handling huge data collections and social data sets (SQL and Non-SQL)
- Ability to study/comprehend business needs, plan information/innovation measurements that interface business processes with quantifiable stage results, Grasp basic measurement/Objective Settings
High-level SQL abilities
* Solid critical thinking abilities, utilizing data to handle issues
- Remarkable writing, communication, and presentation abilities
- Should be legally authorized to work in the US for any business without sponsorship
- Effective completion of interview expected to meet work capability
- Reliable, consistent participation is a fundamental capability of the position
Preferred Qualifications
* Graduate degree in Software Engineering, Aviation Administration, or Operations Research
- Software Engineering, Data Frameworks, avionics management, or related degree, Operations Research, MBA
- Google Data Analysis Professional Certification, Power BI Data Expert Partner, AWS Certified Data Analysis, Enterprise Data Warehouse certifications, Palantir, Client-Side execution measurement tools e.g. Quantum Measurements
- 4+ years in a lead role
- Experience with Data Dog /App D/Kibana is a significant plus
- Experience with Enterprise monitoring frameworks is a plus
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Past airline or travel industry experience is a plus
- Experience with AWS - Redshift, QuickSight, Athena
- Experience with BigQuery
- Continuous integration and delivery using Spry strategies.
- Regression analysis on execution forecasts, exp. in different regression strategies
