About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Distributed Systems Engineer to join our Data Platform team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying scalable, high-performance distributed systems that power our global entertainment platform. About the Team

Our Data Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our data-driven decision-making. We're a collaborative, dynamic team that's passionate about innovation and excellence. We work closely with engineers, product managers, and TPMs across the organization to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver business-critical projects.

Focus Areas

Our team is focused on several key areas, including:

Database Access Stage

* Design and build a scalable, high-performance database access layer that enables our microservices to efficiently store, consume, and manage their data. * Collaborate with our database engineering team to develop and deploy new database features and capabilities.

Information Stage Foundation

* Develop and maintain a common framework and tooling that enables our data teams to rapidly build and deploy new data platforms and applications. * Work with our engineering team to design and build high-availability, scalable data infrastructure that meets the needs of our global user base.

Big Data Figure

* Design and build a cloud-native, scalable big data platform that enables our data teams to efficiently process and analyze large datasets. * Collaborate with our engineering team to develop and deploy new big data features and capabilities.

Big Data Arrangement

* Develop and maintain a self-service platform for planning, organizing, and executing big data jobs and workflows. * Work with our engineering team to design and build scalable, high-performance data infrastructure that meets the needs of our global user base.

About You

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Distributed Systems Engineer who can hit the ground running. Here are some of the key qualifications we're looking for: * 2+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems or applications. * Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices. * Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages. * Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure). * Strong understanding of data storage and retrieval systems (e.g. relational databases, NoSQL databases, data warehouses). * Experience with big data technologies and platforms (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Flink). * Strong understanding of data processing and analytics systems (e.g. ETL, data pipelines, data visualization). * Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. CI/CD, containerization, orchestration). * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
