Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in supporting our team's goals and enhancing organizational efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Transmitting information or documents using a computer, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
  • Reading and visually verifying information in various formats for accuracy and completeness, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective action.
  • Entering and retrieving information from computer databases to update records and answer inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Verifying information in documents or on computer screens for accuracy, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Operating standard office equipment such as telephones, fax machines, and photocopiers, maintaining a high level of proficiency and efficiency.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, ensuring quality and attention to detail.
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Identifying and recommending new ways to increase organizational efficiency and productivity, driving innovation and growth.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • The ability to enter and retrieve information accurately using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball, with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including computers, point of sale systems, and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with a focus on maintaining a healthy and productive work environment.
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems and experience in a similar administrative role, although not required, is a plus.
