Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Estimating group. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the effort to improve the forecasting process for assigned business lines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and automation. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance existing work processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the effort to improve the forecasting process for assigned business lines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and automation
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to enhance existing work processes
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators
- Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders to drive business growth and improvement
- Work closely with the business to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, finance, mathematics)
- At least 3 years of experience in a business analyst or related role
- Proven expertise in planning, executing, and optimizing SQL
- Strong ability to improve business processes and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a related field (e.g. business, finance, mathematics)
- Experience working in a technology or strategy company
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools (e.g. Snowflake, Sigma)
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
