Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Alternate Investments (Remote) at arenaflex

About the Role

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry and reconciliation processes. You'll be responsible for processing trade deal purchases, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and reconciling transactions and returns activity. Your expertise will also be relied upon to analyze complex issues, test and validate new technology enhancements, and provide exceptional customer service to our clients and advisors.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

• Processing trade deal purchases and subscription deals or transfer requests
• Identifying and addressing client/advisor account exceptions
• Ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
• Reconciling business, dividend, and transactions breaks
• Resolving issues and discrepancies between BOS and fund companies
• Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
• Troubleshooting internal/external system issues or concerns
• Identifying and resolving root causes of breaks between TDA, the fund, etc.
• Providing method or innovation service alternatives to management
• Remediating transfer issues with the fund or opposite firm
• Answering business partner inquiries concerning fund details requirements/eligibility
• Providing follow-up on substitute expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
• Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• Experience with TD Ameritrade or similar financial systems
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Entry Specialist)
