Job Summary
As a Lead Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading shifts, and contributing to the overall success of our retail store. Responsibilities
As a Lead Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers warmly and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Operating the cash register and handling transactions efficiently and accurately
- Making purchase suggestions to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Leading shifts and supervising entry-level employees to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Maintaining high standards for store appearance and cleanliness, including visual merchandising and inventory management
- Interacting with customers daily and working as part of a team to achieve daily goals
- Participating in various tasks around the store to accomplish daily objectives, such as receiving shipments, processing returns, and maintaining store displays
- Collaborating with colleagues to resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Entry-level management experience, including supervising and leading teams
- Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a strong focus on customer service and sales skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage in friendly conversation and resolve customer complaints
- Ability to work at a quick pace while maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere
- Motivation to advance in your career and willingness to learn and develop new skills
