Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Greeting customers, operating the register, and providing excellent customer care
- Making purchase suggestions and working with our food program to enhance the customer experience
- Leading shifts on a regular basis, gaining entry-level management experience, and developing leadership skills
- Maintaining high standards for store appearance and providing fast and friendly service to customers
- Interacting with customers daily, working with a fun and energetic team, and accomplishing daily tasks around the store
- Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive and memorable experience for every customer
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, with occasional bending, twisting, and grasping
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:
- Retail and customer service experience, with a focus on sales, customer care, and team leadership
- Entry-level management experience, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and achieving goals
- Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a strong understanding of retail operations and customer needs
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on education and personal development
- Motivation to advance in your career, with a willingness to learn and grow with arenaflex
