Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Loan Consultant II, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is personalized, and exceeds customer expectations
• Building a loyal customer base through sales, loan extension, and merchant referrals
• Processing payments, distributions, and making recommendations regarding loan approvals
• Approving loans up to established lending limits and completing loan closings
• Handling account activities related to collection accounts, including phone calls and face-to-face communications with customers
• Preparing reports, correspondences, transaction documentation, and recording and filing documentation
• Operating a cash drawer, processing bank deposits, maintaining records and balances, and closing the branch
• Actively marketing all branch products and services to individuals
• Performing all other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• 2-4 years of experience in consumer finance or a related field
• Cash handling, computer skills, and customer service skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word Applications

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we encourage candidates with:

• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
• Bilingual, Spanish/English skills
