Key Responsibilities of the Advisor Services Specialist

As an Advisor Services Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing inbound phone support to financial advisors and their staff, delivering administrative training and guidance on platform usability, collaborating with internal teams to resolve client requests efficiently, and partnering with sales consultants to ensure high advisor satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing responsive and empathetic support to financial advisors and their staff via phone
  • Delivering high-quality training and guidance on platform usability to ensure advisors are equipped to provide exceptional service to their clients
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve client requests efficiently and effectively
  • Partnering with sales consultants to ensure high advisor satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth
  • Taking ownership of service requests and providing consistent follow-up to ensure timely resolution
  • Promoting a client-first service approach that builds loyalty and growth
  • Proactively identifying and escalating service concerns to ensure timely resolution
  • Containing service-related issues and providing clear communication throughout the process
  • Sharing feedback to help improve platform functionality
  • Helping mitigate risk by setting accurate expectations and offering clear direction

Qualifications and Skills for the Advisor Services Specialist

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a strong customer service orientation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a high level of integrity. You'll also need to be able to learn quickly, manage risk, and set clear expectations with clients. Additionally, you'll need to be willing to participate in process improvement initiatives and adhere to service standards and departmental procedures.
