Your Day at arenaflex
As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming Customers: You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing them with a warm and welcoming experience.
- Assisting Customers: You will help customers locate and handle merchandise, answering questions and providing product information.
- Down Stocking Merchandise: You will be responsible for replenishing supplies and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Processing Orders and Deliveries: You will accurately process orders and deliveries to ensure customers receive their merchandise as expected and on time.
- Cross-Functional Training: You will be trained in other areas of the store to help deliver exceptional customer service.
- Preparing Merchandise: You will prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs, such as tinting and mixing paint, cutting and threading pipe, and cutting and bundling wood.
- Guiding Customers: You will guide customers through shopping or checkout, providing them with a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Completing Other Duties: You will complete other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome customers to arenaflex, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
- Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
- Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
- Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
- Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs.
- Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
- 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
* 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
- Bi-lingual skills.
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials).

Travel Requirements
This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.
Working Conditions
Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment.
Lifting Methods
Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
