Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our Battery Designing team. As a data engineer, you'll be responsible for conveying data-driven insights to product and design teams across arenaflex, contributing to the development of new generations of battery innovation. You'll be an integral part of a team that's pushing the boundaries of what batteries can do and improving the product experience for our customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
* Convey data-driven insights to product and design teams across arenaflex, contributing to the development of new generations of battery innovation
- Create organized datasets and analyses to inform design decisions, using data visualization tools and techniques to communicate complex data insights
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) techniques to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
- Design and implement data warehouses and data marts to support business intelligence and data analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and engineering teams, to understand data needs and develop data delivery solutions
- Work with database administrators and IT teams to ensure the proper functioning of all data pipelines and the integrity of data storage
- Develop and maintain data visualizations, using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js, to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
- Support data scientists and analysts by developing and maintaining data sources, creating data visualizations, and leading code reviews
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
- Profound knowledge of data set design and engineering
- Experience with social and columnar databases (DML, DDL, projections, views, stored procedures)
- Strong skills in query planning and writing efficient, cost-effective SQL statements
- Experience with data pipelines (ETL, ELT) and data warehousing
- Strong skills in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or related)
- Experience with cloud databases (Snowflake, GCP, AWS) and distributed data sets
- Experience with stream processing and messaging (Kafka, AMQP)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Experience with data science tools and techniques (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with DevOps tools and techniques (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
