Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Security and Legal Information Engineering team. As a Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing data management and extraction structures that enable us to meet our information protection and cleanliness standards. You'll work with a talented team of engineers to build robust, flexible, and privacy-driven data structures that empower us to handle user personal data with care.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective, adaptable, and scalable data pipelines to handle organized and unstructured data
• Develop a deep understanding of the data ecosystem at arenaflex from a privacy-focused perspective
• Collaborate with the security and legal teams to understand item objectives and provide data that enables us to respond to user and regulatory information requests
• Maintain and reevaluate existing datasets and pipelines to ensure they meet our information protection and cleanliness standards
• Join a talented team of data engineers who are passionate about improving our information protection act and mitigating legal and regulatory risk

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in programming and data engineering, with a strong background in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala * Proficiency in advanced SQL and data modeling * Experience in designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take requirements and implement flexible data models and pipelines * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (AWS, GCP, Azure) * Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) * Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js) * Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git, SVN)
