As an RCM Data Entry Associate, you will play a vital role in maximizing insurance reimbursement for healthcare practice owners, analyzing and resolving medical insurance claim denials, and ensuring seamless communication with insurance carriers and practice owners.

Responsibilities

As an RCM Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Maximizing Insurance Reimbursement: Enter billing process data, demographics, charge entry, and EOB/cash posting to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for healthcare practice owners.
  • Analyzing and Resolving Medical Insurance Claim Denials: Discover root causes for medical insurance claim denial, underpayment, or delay, and develop strategies to resolve these issues.
  • Interacting with Insurance Carriers: Follow up on unpaid claims, delayed processing, and underpayment with US-based insurance carriers, and plan and execute medical insurance claim denial appeal processes.
  • Collaborating with Practice Owners and Clinicians: Interact with US-based practice owners and clinicians to complete and correct any missing or incorrect data on their insurance claims.
  • Posting Charges and Payments: Accurately post charges and payments to ensure seamless financial management for healthcare practice owners.

Qualifications

To succeed as an RCM Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you will need:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in US-based data entry and payment posting: You should have a strong background in data entry and payment posting, with a focus on the US medical insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with US medical insurance industry and insurance claims processing cycle: You should have a deep understanding of the US medical insurance industry, including the insurance claims processing cycle.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC: You should be familiar with the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision (ICD-10), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPC).
  • Understanding of CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim formats: You should have a strong understanding of the CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim formats, which are commonly used in the US medical insurance industry.
  • Experience with PIP claims is an added advantage: While not required, experience with PIP (Personal Injury Protection) claims is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with chiropractic, physical therapy, and mental/behavioral health specialties is an added advantage: Experience working with chiropractic, physical therapy, and mental/behavioral health specialties is an added advantage.
  • Experience with Vericle software is an added advantage: While not required, experience with Vericle software is an added advantage.
  • Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills: You should possess excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with insurance carriers and practice owners.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously: You should be self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with minimal supervision.

MUST HAVE

* High comfort level working on Eastern Time Zone/US Shift: You should be comfortable working on the Eastern Time Zone/US Shift, which includes working during standard business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST).

  • Good internet access at home: You should have reliable internet access at home, with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps.
  • Mobile Hotspot: You should have a mobile hotspot or a reliable internet connection at home.
  • Laptop/Desktop of at least 8 GB: You should have a laptop or desktop with a minimum of 8 GB of RAM to ensure smooth performance.
