Job Overview

As a Customer Service Associate at Amazon Locker+ retail locations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing returns, and preparing packages for delivery. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, resolving issues, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Key Responsibilities

* Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare for delivery

• Assist customers with questions and concerns, providing top-notch customer service and support
• Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols
• Manage responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing site
• Use technology, such as smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders
• Receive truck deliveries and ensure all packages are processed and prepared for delivery

Physical Demands

* Perform physical labor, including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Be available to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules varying week to week

* Safety: Your safety is our top priority, and we provide a safe working environment with protective gear and regular safety training

• Surroundings: You'll be working behind a counter, interacting with customers, and may be located in a Whole Foods Market, freestanding location, partner retailer, or warehouse lobby
• Activity: You'll be on your feet for the majority of your shift, helping customers and sorting packages
• Temperature: Our Locker+ locations are in comfortable, climate-controlled environments
• Noise level: Sound levels are minimal, similar to a grocery store
• Dress code: Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety, including comfortable, closed-toe shoes and protective safety footwear in select business units

Requirements

* Candidates must be 18 years or older

• Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
