Manager, Data Analytics
Description:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of about 8 data analysts supporting Pricing & Supply initiatives.
- Partner with leaders across Pricing, Supply, Product, and Data to define analytical priorities and drive business impact.
- Build and improve the analytics operating model, including prioritization, stakeholder management, quality standards, and reusable reporting.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into analytical plans, dashboards, experiments, decision frameworks, and recommendations.
- Analyze pricing performance, supplier coverage, marketplace dynamics, conversion, margin, customer behavior, and operational levers.
- Raise analytical rigor through stronger metric definition, data storytelling, root-cause analysis, experimentation, and forecasting.
- Develop analysts into stronger business partners who communicate clearly, influence decisions, and work with ownership.
- Partner with data engineering and analytics engineering to improve tooling, data models, and self-service capabilities.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, data science, or a related analytical function.
- 3+ years of experience managing, mentoring, and developing analysts or analytics teams.
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience using data to influence business decisions in a high-growth, product-led, marketplace, e-commerce, SaaS, travel, fintech, logistics, or similarly complex environment.
- Strong business judgment with the ability to connect analytics to revenue, margin, customer experience, operational efficiency, or strategic priorities.
- Experience building scalable analytics processes, dashboards, reporting standards, and prioritization systems.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing analytical talent.
- Experience supporting pricing, supply, marketplace, revenue management, inventory, procurement, or commercial strategy teams. (preferred)
- Experience with modern data tools such as dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. (preferred)
- Exposure to experimentation, A/B testing, forecasting, segmentation, causal analysis, or advanced analytics methods. (preferred)
- Experience building analytics functions, centers of excellence, or team operating models in a scaling company. (preferred)
- Experience in travel, hospitality, marketplace, B2B SaaS, or high-transaction-volume businesses. (preferred)
Benefits:
- Competitive base salary of $144,500 to $200,000 USD.
- Additional total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE).
