Account Executive- St. Louis (Remote)
Description:
- Manage the sales process from start to finish.
- Generate new business opportunities using a variety of sales techniques.
- Take a solution-focused approach to selling and create value for clients.
- Build and maintain rapport with key decision-makers.
- Drive revenue and new business to grow a robust pipeline and book of business.
- Build, maintain, and document sales activity, pipeline, and forecast in Salesforce CRM.
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
- Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies.
- Identify and escalate security risks and contribute to remediation efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be based in the St. Louis, MO area.
- This is a remote role with weekly travel for in-person client meetings in the surrounding area.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant IT sales experience.
- Field-based sales experience at a VAR is a plus.
- Experience selling top IT infrastructure and/or security providers.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify client needs and position solutions effectively.
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and create new business opportunities.
- Competitive drive and the ability to handle challenges.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM software is required.
