AEM Content Author
Our Financial Data client is seeking a part time, remote, AEM Content Author to join forces with their front-end Web Developer team to work on a AEM Content Build. The AEM Content Author will be responsible for building pages in AEM using assets from the AEM DAM. The pages will be repurposed; replacing copy, images, and linking as the client rebuilds their site. ENGAGEMENT DETAILS
- Assignment Duration: 5/26/2026-7/31/2026
- Hours: 20-30 hours per week (210 total - 1 hour per page + 10 hours training)
- Location: Remote with required virtual collaboration
- Equipment: Must work on client-provided laptop
- Process: Daily on-camera stand-ups and weekly status meetings
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and configure pages in AEM using existing components, templates, and assets from the AEM DAM
- Execute page-by-page migration of approximately 100 English pages based on detailed client-provided documentation and then those same pages into French pages
- Repurpose content including copy, images, links, and limited artwork into new template structures
- Apply updated navigation, components, and templates while maintaining consistency with the existing DAM
- Manage links, CTAs, and asset integrations across all pages
- Support limited form integrations using provided HTML
- Perform developer-led UAT and quality control prior to each batch delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders by sharing preview links and addressing feedback before go-live
- Execute French content conversion by applying translated copy and adjusting layouts for text expansion
- Support dual-language site delivery, including duplication of English pages into French for final launch
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Proven experience building and managing content within AEM Cloud environments
- Strong understanding of AEM components, templates, and DAM usage
- Experience executing large-scale content migrations or site rebuilds
- Ability to follow structured documentation including sitemaps, URLs, and page specifications
- Experience with QA, UAT processes, and batch delivery workflows
- Familiarity with multilingual content implementation, including French content adaptation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume page production
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a highly collaborative, meeting-driven environment
