Job Summary

As a Customer Service Logistics Coordinator at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global supply chain. You'll be responsible for managing the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management, and adhering to strict security and procedural guidelines. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Logistics Coordinator at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Process spare parts and stock reception: Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of goods.
  • Pack and unpack local and international shipments: Pack and unpack shipments with precision, adhering to strict security guidelines and company policies.
  • Intercompany transfers and stock postings: Manage the transfer of goods between departments and update inventory records accurately.
  • Receive and open parcels: Receive and open parcels from carriers, adhering to strict security guidelines and company policies.
  • Pack hazmat shipments: Pack hazardous materials shipments in accordance with FAA hazmat guidelines and policies.
  • Ensure correct shipping label and documentation: Complete shipping labels and documentation accurately, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Fill out BOL and Airway bills: Complete Bill of Lading and Airway bills for local, international, and high-value shipments.
  • Assist with managing the Receiving / Unpacking / Shipping Mailbox: Provide email responses to incoming inquiries from internal clients and assist with managing the mailbox.
  • Order packaging and supplies: Order packaging and supplies used to support the processes for the department.
  • Deliver incoming items and supplies: Deliver incoming items and supplies to internal staging areas based on the name of the recipient and department.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred: A high school diploma is required, but a college degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years of employment in a production-based environment preferred: Previous experience in a production-based environment is preferred.
  • Previous SAP experience preferred: Experience with SAP is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to be proactive, follow directions, make decisions, problem-solve, and adapt to change: You'll need to be a proactive, detail-oriented, and flexible individual who can adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills: Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office, Windows: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows is required.
  • Ability to stand for up to 9 hours: You'll need to be able to stand for up to 9 hours, as this role requires frequent standing and movement.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds: You'll need to be able to lift up to 40 pounds, as this role requires occasional lifting and carrying of packages.
  • Ability to handle and operate box cutters, tape machines, tape guns, and air film machine: You'll need to be able to handle and operate various equipment, including box cutters, tape machines, tape guns, and air film machines.

Nice-to-haves

While the following qualifications are not required, they're highly desirable:

  • Experience with logistics software: Experience with logistics software, such as SAP, is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in logistics or supply chain management: Certifications in logistics or supply chain management are highly desirable.
  • Fluency in multiple languages: Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable, as arenaflex operates globally.
