Job Description
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the success of our clients, staff, and students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the focal point of information between staff, students, and parents, providing exceptional support and guidance as needed
- Handling all incoming calls, new and existing clients, and taking messages in a timely and professional manner
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services
- Reporting all staff, client, vendor, and subcontractor issues to Directors, ensuring that concerns are addressed promptly and effectively
- Developing, implementing, following, and perfecting office systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Reading and responding to all work-related emails, providing timely and accurate information to clients and staff
- Answering all phone calls and directing callers to the appropriate contact, ensuring that clients receive the support they need
- Maintaining and managing company calendars, appointments, and client schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and commitments are kept
- Scheduling appointments for Directors and organizing and composing office correspondence, documents, and reports as needed
- Supporting sales and production efforts, providing data and insights to inform business decisions
- Posting company-related content on social media platforms, helping to build our brand and engage with our community
- Sending communication, such as thank you notes and referral gifts, to clients and partners
- Reviewing upcoming daily and weekly schedules with Directors, ensuring that everyone is aware of upcoming events and deadlines
- Participating in staff meetings as needed, providing input and feedback to help drive business growth and improvement
- Ensuring that the company's public image is consistent and in keeping with our branding, providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and staff
Essential Qualifications
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Self-starter with a positive attitude, able to work well with minimal supervision and take initiative to drive results
- Coachable and willing to learn, with a strong desire to grow and develop in the role
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitasking in a professional setting and managing competing priorities
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and staff
- Proficient in using IOS, Windows, MS Office Suite, and G-Suites, with experience working in an educational institution a plus
- Excellent business etiquette and follow-up procedures, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Tact and discretion when dealing with confidential information, with a calm and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment methodically, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and support
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in an educational institution, with a strong understanding of the college prep process and the needs of students and families
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, with a strong academic record and a passion for education
- Experience working in a customer-facing role, with a strong ability to build relationships and provide exceptional support
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online marketing tools, with a strong ability to create engaging content and build our brand

* Computer with at least Windows 10 or Catalina MacOS
