Experienced Data Entry/ Data Wiping Technician – IT Asset Disposition and Inventory Management

Responsibilities
As a Data Entry/ Data Wiping Technician at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately capturing and uploading all relevant device information into arenaflex's inventory management system, including finding the serial number and manufacturer on a computer, and possibly removing hardware.
- Performing data wiping steps to ensure client equipment is wiped clean using a program called Blancco.
- Triage and routing assets based on technical relevance, generation, physical condition, internal components, and other factors.
- Understanding nuanced requirements, deadlines, and due dates between each of arenaflex's customers, and prioritizing workloads accordingly.
- Adhering to strict data sanitization and destruction procedures and regulations when processing data-bearing assets.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and professional appearance of the department.
- Preserving technical skills through participation and ongoing training.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Basic knowledge of a wide variety of office and enterprise-grade IT equipment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, and/or relevant professional credentials.
- Very strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize in a constantly changing workload.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel as part of a team.
- Ability to use sound judgment in determining priorities and enlisting the support of other internal groups to prevent issues and achieve the best results.
- Ability to work on feet for most of the shift and lift heavy objects.
- Proficiency in GSuite.
- 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment or similar capacity (preferred).
