Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, reviewing data for errors, and maintaining logs of activities and completed work. If you're a detail-oriented individual with excellent data entry skills and a passion for accuracy, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Entering alphanumeric data from raw data into our systems
- Comparing data with source documents, or re-entering data in verification format to detect errors
- Compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data before it's entered
- Utilizing Excel for data remediation and data analysis
- Locating and correcting data entry errors, or reporting them to supervisors
- Maintaining logs of activities and completed work
- Reading source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and entering data in specific data fields
- Meeting heavy production requirements and deadlines
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in data entry, data collection, or a related field
- Excellent data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Proficiency in Excel and other spreadsheet software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect errors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Experience with database software and data remediation
- 10-key skills and familiarity with spreadsheets and database software
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Familiarity with arenaflex's systems and processes
