Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Licensed Property & Casualty Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding support to our clients' members, handling inbound communication, and resolving complex issues related to personal lines insurance. Responsibilities
As a Remote Licensed Property & Casualty Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Fielding inbound communication from our clients' members, including phone, email, chat, social media, and other channels
- Utilizing your knowledge of personal lines insurance to help members with quotes, new business, rating, policy, billing, payment, underwriting, contract, and coverage provisions, and premium changes
- Conducting thorough research to provide accurate and timely resolutions to customer inquiries
- Corresponding with customers, clients, insurance carriers, and internal sources to provide coverage information and policy recommendations
- Executing various client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations, or other tasks
- Adhering to performance metrics and quality standards to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- An active Resident Property and Casualty or Personal Lines License
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, with a focus on insurance or a related field
- 1 year of call center experience, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- A High School diploma or GED, with a strong emphasis on communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Professional, articulate voice and listening skills, with the ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations
- The ability to maintain member privacy and confidentiality, with a strong commitment to data security and compliance
- Internet and research skills, with the ability to quickly become an expert in a variety of subjects
- Computer savvy, with the ability to resolve minor technical issues with minimal assistance
- Typing skills of 25 words per minute with 90% accuracy
- Critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple computer applications and customer interactions simultaneously
