Job Summary
As a part-time Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data processing systems that support our business-critical applications. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data pipelines, integrate with our core product functions, and ensure data quality and integrity. Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop scalable data processing systems using big data technologies such as Spark, Flink, and Hadoop
- Build and maintain data pipelines that integrate with our core product functions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that support business-critical applications
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation, data cleansing, and data transformation techniques
- Develop and maintain data models that support business analytics and reporting
- Work with data scientists to develop machine learning models that power our platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues that impact our business-critical applications
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related field
- Strong background in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or C++
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Flink, Hadoop, or NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related field
- Experience with cloud-based data processing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data storage solutions such as S3, GCS, or Azure Blob Storage
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
